Cornelia Parker

I've just watched and loved the work of Cornelia Parker, who deconstructs (squashes / blows up / burnts down) things, then recostructs them in an artistic way.

Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View, 1991

Cold Dark Matter: A garden shed and contents blown up

I love the idea of reusing items that have either seen better days or simply changing the purpose of use. It would be really interesting to experiment in doing this (especially the squashing) items, then printing with them.
