wildflower weaving

On a more positive note, I found myself wanting to weave whilst I was out in Ilfracombe with my little girl the other day.

As it was a (rare) beautiful sunny day, I knew we'd be out all day, so whilst she played on Capstone Hill, I picked wildflowers and wove them together. I used long stiff grasses (with brown tops) as the warp, then wove them together with various flowers and grassed.  The result is really beautiful, maybe added by the fact that it won't stay around very long ... I've put it in the airing cupboard, in the hope it will dry out and retain it's structure.
